Product Description from Goodreads

Since her sister’s mysterious death, Persephone “Phe” Archer has been plagued by a series of disturbing dreams. Determined to find out what happened to her sister, Phe enrolls at Devenish Prep in Shadow Hills, Massachusetts—the subject of her sister’s final diary entry.

After stepping on campus, Phe immediately realizes that there’s something different about this place—an unexplained epidemic that decimated the town in the 1700s, an ancient and creepy cemetery, and gorgeous boy Zach—and somehow she’s connected to it all.

But the more questions she asks and the deeper she digs, the more entangled Phe becomes in the haunting past of Shadow Hills. Finding what links her to this town…might cost her life.

Why I can’t Wait;

Well first of all, I love this book just because the main character’s name is Persephone, and since my major is in Classical studies (mythology is my favorite) I feel like I’m already an instant fan. And also who can’t help but love gorgeous boys, who have a mysterious side. Also, I should be getting this book shortly, part of the Around the World’s ARC tour, which I am VERY excited for since that means I won’t have to wait till July!!

P.S Isn't the cover so cool and mysterious!!

  4. hope the library has this one-- I find creepy towns with a secret past irrestible. I like mythology too--- been thinking about reading Bullfinch's again someday. Been 30 yrs since I read it but I still get most of the myth questions on Jeopardy!
