An Update.... ITALY!

When I just started blogging a couple of months ago, I wrote a blog on a very exciting opportunity I was looking into; going to Italy for school this summer for 6 weeks (may 20th- all of June). Well its official, I am going to Italy! I'm so excited, and while this isn't book related I thought I would keep my followers from back then ( I believe there was 6...) updated on this new development!
I've mentioned several times that I am currently a University student, I'm studying Classical studies, and I'm going to Italy to be part of an archaeological dig, in an ancient garden. Stabiae is located on the Bay of Naples and close to Pompeii. I can't wait! Not only will this be great experience in the future for my career, but it's also been a dream of mine to go to Europe for as long as I can remember. I've never been any place like Italy before! I've only been out of Canada once and that was to Mexico a couple of years ago with a friend, but we were at a resort and we didn't see much of the country. Here are some beautiful pictures of Stabiae (close to were I will be staying);
Gorgeous right?!

  2. Beautiful pictures! Have fun. Take as many pictures as you can so you can remember everything later! I've never been out of the States, myself. Planning to go to Scotland sometime during the next 10 years.

  3. Oh and I think it'd be such a cool idea if you blog about your experiences in Italy! And maybe your little bookstore/library trips over there. It'd certainly be a different perspective! I would read all about it. Haha.
