Hey guys!
So it has been awhile since I did that embrassing Vlog, and I just wanted to assure you all that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I've had a lot of stuff happening to me lately, I just had a midterm, and for those of you also in post secondary education may notice that why yes it is early for a midterm. Guess I'm just that lucky. So I had the midterm stress to deal with, and for those of you that watched my vlog and heard me talk about my plan to only read on the weekends so I could get more done during the week and not zone off in class daydreaming about my books, will be pleased (well depending on your stand on that whole pledge) that I have more-or-less stuck to it! I may have cheated last night with "Twice as hot" by Gena Showalter, I just couldn't help myself I saw it at chapters two days early and just had to start reading it right away. Midterm and pledge be damned! Pardon my Canadian french.
So book wise, as mentioned I have been reading ALOT of Gena Showalter's books. Their not YA books... but they are soo addictive. Their braincandy, as my dad would say; fun-easy-hot men-reads. So I eat them right up, pun intended. I haven't been reading many YA books lately, it's hard to switch from paranormal romance to YA but I'm going to spend this weekend reading "Handle with Care" by Jodi Picoult, so I should have a review up next week. Hopefully.
Also, very exciting news. I MIGHT BE GOING TO ITALY!!!!!!! For 6 weeks!! How crazy exciting is that!! I would be going the last two weeks of may and all of June. I'm soo excited, it's my dream! I would be going on an archaeological dig to a site near Pompeii, and spend my weekdays discovering artifacts, and then on weekends traveling to places like Rome, and other glorious places! I promise to keep everyone updated.
So in brief; I'm alive, I may become Gena Showalter new crazy stalker-fan, and Italy may have one plus Canadian book blogger for 6 weeks come may!!!
Till I blog again, toddles and happy readings!
Wow, Italy :-). I'd love to go there. I even started my Italian classes last year :-). // I have a midterm now ;/.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am very excited.. If you couldn't tell!! Oh really, I actually don't know a stitch of Italian so hopefully I'll pick some up. Good luck on your midterm!!
